# How can I resolve an Airbnb account block caused by missing verification or security requirements?

Airbnb account blocks and identity verification are handled directly by Airbnb, not by Hosthub. A block is usually caused by security issues or incomplete verification — for example, a missing email confirmation, an unentered SMS code, or an incomplete profile.

To resolve it, complete the verification steps within Airbnb: check the SMS with the verification code sent to your Airbnb phone number, check your email (including spam/junk) for the verification email, and make sure your profile is complete (e.g. profile photo added). If your account remains blocked, contact Airbnb support directly at https://www.airbnb.com/help/contact-us so they can lift the block and reopen your calendar. Note that if you cannot access two-factor authentication (e.g. your phone number changed), only Airbnb can reset it.
