# How Do I Cancel My Subscription, Delete a Rental, or Pause My Account?

Hosthub charges continue as long as your account has an active rental. To stop being billed, you need to either delete the rental(s) you no longer use or cancel your account. This guide explains the available options.

## Deleting a Single Rental

To remove a specific rental and stop being charged for it:

1. Go to **Setup**.
2. Open **Rentals**.
3. Select the rental you want to delete.
4. Click **Other actions**.
5. Click **Manage subscription**.
6. Choose **Delete and lose access**.

| **Tip:** Before deleting, we recommend downloading the list of bookings and reports for that rental in case you need them in the future, especially if the rental was syncing with any channel.

|| **Note:** On step 6 you may see either **Delete and lose access** (permanently removes the rental and all its data) or **Pause and lose access** (stops billing and syncing while keeping the rental). Choose the option that matches your needs. You can also open the subscription management page directly using the URL https://app.hosthub.com/z/rentals/[rental-id]/manage-subscription.

### If You Don't See the "Other Actions" Tab or Delete Option

If the **Other Actions** tab or the delete/pause option doesn't appear, check the following:

* **You may be on the rental's editing page.** Go to **Setup → Rentals** and click the rental's **name** (not Edit) to open the rental page where the **Other Actions** tab is available.
* **Off-season mode is not available on annual subscriptions.** If your rentals are on an annual plan, the off-season option won't show under Other Actions.
* **Permissions:** If you're not the account admin, you may not be able to manage or delete rentals. The admin must do it or update your role.
* **Off-season mode enabled:** If the rental is in off-season mode, turn it off first, then return to Manage subscription.

These steps also work from a mobile phone using the direct subscription management link.

## Cancelling Your Account

To cancel your account, follow these steps:

1. Go to [https://app.hosthub.com/settings](https://app.hosthub.com/settings).
2. Click **Manage My Account** at the bottom of the page.
3. Click **Cancel and lose access**.

During the cancellation flow you'll be asked why you're leaving:

* If you're leaving for the off-season, you may be offered an **off-season discount** instead of cancelling.
* If you still want to proceed, confirm the cancellation at [https://app.hosthub.com/settings/pause-confirmation](https://app.hosthub.com/settings/pause-confirmation).

**Pausing also means the account will be cancelled.**

You must complete these steps yourself. Per our [Terms of Service](https://www.hosthub.com/tos/), we are unable to process cancellations on your behalf. If the self-service flow keeps directing you to chat, contact support and our team can process the cancellation manually.

Once processed, our Customer Success team will confirm that your account has been cancelled.

## Pausing Temporarily

If you plan to return after a few months, you don't necessarily need to cancel. Ask our team about the **off-season discount** so you can keep your account and data while paused. Whenever you're ready to return, our team can help you reactivate.

## Monthly vs. Annual Billing Notes

* If you have a rental on a **monthly subscription**, you'll continue to see a recurring monthly charge until that rental is deleted, even if you've paid an annual subscription for other rentals.
* For help with account cancellation, refunds, or billing questions, contact Hosthub support. Note that billing-related requests may be handled by the billing team on their available days.
