# How to Set Up Trip.com (Ctrip) iCal Calendar Synchronization with Hosthub

Hosthub connects with Trip.com through iCal calendar synchronization. In the Hosthub channels list, Trip.com appears as **Ctrip**.

## Adding the Channel

1. Go to **Setup → Channels → Add new channel**.
2. In the **All channels** list, select **Ctrip** (Trip.com).

## Exchanging iCal Links

Synchronization works by exchanging iCal links between Hosthub and Trip.com for each listing. Do this on the channel's **Rentals** tab:

* Copy the iCal link from your listing's calendar on **Trip.com** and add (import) it into **Hosthub**.
* Copy the rental's iCal link from **Hosthub** and add (import) it into your listing's calendar on **Trip.com**.

Repeat this import/export for every listing you want to sync.

## Important: Do Not Select a Connectivity Provider on Trip.com

On the Trip.com **connection settings** page, make sure you have **not** selected a connectivity provider. The connection to Hosthub is made directly via iCal, so choosing a provider will prevent reservations from syncing.

## Troubleshooting Missing Reservations

If Trip.com reservations are not appearing in your Hosthub calendar:

1. Confirm all setup steps above are completed correctly (Hosthub cannot access your Ctrip account to check them).
2. On Trip.com's connection settings page, verify that no connectivity provider is selected.
3. Re-import/export the iCal links for each listing as described above.
4. After checking synchronization, if reservations still do not appear, contact Hosthub so an additional check can be run on the system.

## Note on "Phantom" Bookings

A rate plan on Trip.com can sometimes be imported as a long reservation (for example, a 98-night booking) that blocks the calendar. If a booking is not a real reservation, it can be cancelled in Hosthub to make the calendar available again.
