# How to select check-in & check-out restrictions for your Rental?

Let’s say that you want your Rental property to be unavailable for check-in or check-out (or even both) for certain days or a specific date range, such as Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or to manage turnover restrictions effectively. Using Hosthub, you can easily apply these settings and more!

Go to **Rate Management → Exceptions → Advanced Settings**

* Choose the dates range that you want this to be applied to. You can customize a range wherever applicable to ensure your restrictions perfectly align with your rental's needs.
* Select the days (in this example Tuesday & Wednesday) For instance, you might block weekends to ensure smooth turnovers or any other high-demand day.
* Select Yes for *Block arrival* and *Block departure* This allows you to completely restrict both arrivals and departures for the specified days.
* *Click on **Preview*** and review the settings thoroughly before clicking on Publish to apply changes.

Using Hosthub’s features, you can apply various check-in and check-out restrictions, such as blocking a Sunday turnover or customizing rates for specific days.

For instance, if you want to reserve Saturdays for check-ins and check-outs, ensure you navigate to Advanced Settings to edit rates and restrictions accordingly.

Hosthub also allows you to block only check-ins or only check-outs by specifying your preferences in the settings menu.

To block check-outs on a specific day, such as Sundays, navigate to Exceptions and define the settings in Advanced Settings accordingly.

| See examples of how to set specific date ranges or days of the week as unavailable for check-in or check-out. For example:

Block Sundays for both arrivals and departures.
Allow only Saturday check-ins while prohibiting all other arrivals/departures during the week.
