How to Effectively Use the Channel Uplift Feature in Hosthub to Optimize Rates
You can use the channel uplift feature to favor some rates-connected channels than the other.
Hosthub’s Channel Uplift feature allows you to strategically adjust rates for specific channels, helping you to balance rates or prioritize some platforms over others.
Strategically applying channel uplifts and downlifts can help optimize your bookings across different platforms. For instance, you can offset discounts applied by certain OTAs or ensure fairness in pricing across platforms. By understanding how uplifts impact pricing, users can tailor strategies to achieve goals like minimum net payouts or channel prioritization. Here are the steps to achieve this:
You can set an uplift or downlift for each active channel on your Hosthub account.
For step-by-step instructions on setting uplifts, please follow the process outlined below.
Choose the channel of your preference (on your Hosthub account)
Change the channel's uplift/downlift from -95% to +95%
All your rentals’ rates will change dynamically, adding up the channel fee and the up/downlift that you set, to give you the final price for your guests.
Our system will automatically updates the rates accordingly on your channel calendar.
You can also use the Uptick/Downtick per listing.
For instance, you have listing A, B and C under your Booking.com channel in Hosthub. You have already applied 10% uplift to your Booking.com channel in Hosthub which is already applied to all three listings,
However, if you decide to apply higher uplift just for listing A now you can easily do it by applying the higher uplift on that listing alone.
