How to Use iCal to Synchronize Calendars Between Agoda and Hosthub
Synchronizing calendars between Agoda and Hosthub allows seamless booking and availability management across both platforms. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for connecting Agoda and Hosthub using the iCal synchronization method.
Select the Rental that you want to sync with its corresponding listing in Agoda and click the ''Enable for Agoda'' button.
Go to Setup > Channels > Add new channel in your Hosthub account.
Search for Agoda and add it to your channel list. Hosthub will generate an iCal URL for each property.
You will be asked to get the Agoda iCalendar url and save it in this field This iCalendar URL is vital for synchronizing availability between the platforms. Keep in mind that this synchronization only supports calendar availability updates, so pricing must be manually managed in Agoda.
In order to do that, please go to your Agoda account-->Calendar -->Calendar sync and click the button EXPORT CALENDAR Additionally, ensure that in Agoda's Connectivity settings, the "Are you connected to a channel manager?" option is set to No and that "I manage them directly" is selected in YCS.
Naming Agoda Calendars
When adding the Hosthub iCal link to Agoda, name the calendar descriptively, such as "Hosthub," for easier identification.
Paste that on the Agoda iCalendar url field on Hosthub and click ''Save''.
Copy the iCal URL provided by Hosthub for the property.
Paste this iCal URL into Agoda's calendar import field to enable two-way synchronization.
