Guest Information on Hosthub

At Hosthub, we understand the importance of having accurate and up-to-date guest information. That's why we have made it easy for hosts to manage and modify guest information on our platform.

Guest information is synced from channels, also known as Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). This means that any changes made to guest information on these channels will automatically be updated on Hosthub. However, hosts also have the ability to modify guest information directly on our platform.

What is included in guest information?

Guest information includes the following details:

  • Name

  • Surname

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Address

  • Street

  • Street number

  • City

  • Postal code

  • Country

  • Language

  • Identification type

  • Identification number

Having all of this information readily available allows hosts to provide a personalized and seamless experience for their guests.

Viewing and editing guest information

Guest information is fetched from the channels and can be viewed in the booking details page. Hosts can add, update or modify the guest information in the booking edit view.

Identifying known/repeating guests

At Hosthub, we want to make the booking process as easy as possible for both hosts and guests. That's why we have implemented a feature that identifies known, repeating guests.

When a guest's information is modified, Hosthub will automatically identify if the guest already exists in our database. If so, their information will be updated accordingly and will be synced across all bookings with the same guest. This saves time for both hosts and guests, as there is no need to re-enter information that has already been provided.

We hope this article has helped you understand how guest information is managed on Hosthub. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
