Hosthub Website Builder - SMTP authentication

SMTP authentication ensures that only authorized users can send emails through your website, improving security and preventing unauthorized email use.

To ensure that

  • your website is able to send emails to either yourself as the administrator or to customers who make reservations,
  • as well as ensuring that the Contact form is working properly

the following steps must be taken:

STEP 1

The initial step is to choose the email address you want to use for sending emails to your Booking Customers.

We recommend [email protected]

Alternatively, you can choose any other e.g. [email protected] or [email protected]

STEP 2

Contact your Hosting Provider's Support and submit the following request.

Dear Sir/Madam

In order to config the "Other SMTP" options in the WP Mail SMTP plugin, please

SMTP host

Encryption

SMTP Port

Auto TLS

Authentication

SMTP username

SMTP password

Yours sincerely

(Remember to replace [email protected] with the email you chose in STEP 1 and https://your-domain.com with your website URL).

STEP 3

Once you have completed these tasks, please reach out to the Website Builder Department and share the aforementioned details. This will allow us to implement the necessary updates to your website.
