What is a Rental in Hosthub

Rental details

Name: This is the name of your Rental which usually is the one you use to identify it on the platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo etc.

Rental group: The group your rental belongs to. It can be a building, a business, a city, an owner or whatever other grouping you need to have for your rentals.

Max guests: This is the number of max users your property can accommodate at its full capacity.

Attention: Make sure the number of max guests should not be different than the one you have on your channel listings as it might negatively affect some aspects of rates synchronization.

Advance notice: It is a settings that determines how many hours/days before check-in, should a booking be allowed. Learn more here

Check-in/Checkout hour/minute: These fields are mainly used to determine the check-in and checkout hours your Automated Messaging tool is going to use as indicator in order to calculate the exact time messages will be sent according to the rules you have created.

Manager fee/formula: Either you are a property manager or an owner , you can use this tool to determine the exact percentage and the formula your manager fee is going to be calculated and reflected to your reports.

Owner payout: Either you are a property manager or an owner , you can use this tool to determine the exact percentage and the formula your owner is going to be paid for this booking based on your business model and reflected to your reports.

Preparation time: This setting allows hosts to automatically block the night before and after your booking on all active channels, allowing you extra time to prepare your rental for the next guest. Learn more here


Availability window: Availability window is a setting that allows hosts to specify the amount of time their rental will be available for customers to book. Learn more here


Currency: Here you can set the rental base currency. Note that this currency is the one that is used for reports and other rental specific information. If there are channel listings linked to this rental that have currencies other than the base one then Hosthub automatically make all the currency conversions before sending rates to each listing.

In this section you can link your Rental with its corresponding listing from each channel.

If you're looking for a fast overview of your Rental's numbers, such as Booking value and Total payout, this section has you covered. Feel free to visit the Reports section if you need more detailed analytics.


Relations

Clone relation: In case you have the same property listed twice on the same channel.

Parent - Child relation: In case you rent multiple rooms in a house separately as well as the house as a whole. Just define which rental is 'child' of which.
