How to Sync Your Agoda Listing with Hosthub Using iCalendar (iCal) Links

Agoda connects to Hosthub through iCalendar (iCal) links. This connection is set up entirely on your side via self-onboarding, so Hosthub does not have access to your Agoda account to verify the settings for you.

Before You Start: Agoda Connectivity Settings

In your Agoda account (YCS), make sure the connectivity settings are correct:

  • Set "Are you connected to a channel manager?" to No.
  • Select "I manage them directly" (I manage them directly on YCS).

Setting Up the Connection

1. Enable the property for Agoda in Hosthub

  • In Hosthub, go to Setup → Channels → Agoda (if Agoda is not added yet, use Add new channel → Agoda).
  • Click your property/rental, then on that property's page click Enable for Agoda.

Tip: The Enable for Agoda button only appears after you select the specific property you want to sync — it is not shown on the main Agoda channel page. If you don't see it, open the Agoda channel, then open your property first. This applies even if you only have one property.

2. Import/export the calendars

For each property you need to exchange iCal links in both directions:

  • Agoda → Hosthub: In Agoda, go to Calendar → Calendar sync → EXPORT CALENDAR, copy the iCal URL, then paste it into the Agoda iCalendar URL field in Hosthub and click Save.
  • Hosthub → Agoda: Copy the iCal link from Hosthub and add it to the property's calendar in Agoda.

Verifying the Connection

To confirm Agoda is synced with Hosthub, check the Agoda channel in Hosthub. If it shows 0/0 listings and the username as "-", the connection exists but no Agoda listing is yet linked to a property in Hosthub — you need to complete the Enable for Agoda and iCal setup for that specific property.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see any Agoda sync errors, ignore old or inactive Agoda connections and redo the setup for the active one.
  • Make sure the iCal URL is set up on the correct property.
