Rental Relations

Setting up rental relations in Hosthub allows you to link your listings to automatically sync availability, prevent double-bookings, and manage multi-unit properties seamlessly.
Before you begin, ensure that all relevant properties—including original listings, clones, parents, and children—have already been added to your Hosthub Rentals page.

Understand Your Relation Types

Choose the relationship type that best fits your property setup:

Clone Relation: Use this if you have the exact same property listed multiple times on the same channel (for example, Airbnb linked listings). Booking one will automatically block the other.
Parent-Child Relation: Use this when a property can be rented either as a whole or as individual components.
- Scenario A (Multiple Units): A large house (Parent) divided into individual rooms (Children). Booking a single room blocks the entire house, and booking the entire house blocks all individual rooms.
- Scenario B (Combined Properties): Two separate studio apartments (Children) that can also be booked together as a combined two-bedroom suite (Parent).

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Ready to link your listings? Just follow these simple steps:

Log in to your Hosthub dashboard and navigate to Setup > Rentals.
Click on the specific rental you want to configure.
Select the Relations tab.
Choose the correct relationship type (Clone or Parent-Child) and select the corresponding rentals from the dropdown menu.
Click "Add relation" to save your changes.
