What should I do if I get an error while adding a Hotel ID on Booking.com?

If the Hotel ID shows as an error when you add it, you first need to authorize Hosthub through the Booking.com widget. On the Booking channel page in Hosthub (Setup → Channels → View), click the green "Quick Connect" link. This opens a Booking.com window—log in with the property owner's credentials, accept all the requested connectivity permissions, tick the final connectivity provider option, and confirm. Then return to Hosthub and add the Hotel ID again; it will now be accepted and Hosthub will detect the property and create a listing ready to connect.

If, after selecting properties, you see a "select properties" prompt, you can stop there—support will verify the connection on their side and finalize it. Once the connection is complete, note that availability and rates may take a few minutes to appear and open on the calendar, which is normal.

Property does not appear during Quick Connect

If you click Quick Connect and the property is not shown for linking in the Booking.com window, refresh the page and click Add Hotel ID again, then retry. This usually makes the property appear so you can complete the connection.

After the connection completes

Once the Booking.com property is added and syncing:

  • Reservations: Active bookings are imported automatically. It may take a few minutes for all bookings and availability to appear in detail.
  • Blocked dates: Existing blocked/manual dates are NOT imported automatically—add them manually in Hosthub. From then on, make all blocks in Hosthub, not directly on the channel.
  • Until a rental is synced with Booking.com, its availability on that channel is not controlled by Hosthub, so blocks set in Hosthub will not apply to Booking.com.
