Activating off-season mode for a rental on Hosthub is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the prerequisites and the step-by-step instructions to enable this feature.

Prerequisites for Activating Off-Season Mode

Before you can switch a rental to off-season mode, ensure the following:

• Settle Outstanding Invoices: Any unpaid invoices on your account must be cleared before proceeding. Once the outstanding amount is paid, you can enable off-season mode for the desired rental(s).

Step-by-Step Guide to Activation

Follow these steps to activate off-season mode for your rental:

• Navigate to the SETUP section and select Rentals.

• Click on the name of the rental you wish to set to off-season mode.

• Go to the Other Actions tab and click Manage Subscription.

• Click the green button labeled Switch to Off-Season.

• Confirm the action to complete the process.

Activating Off-Season Mode for Multiple Rentals

Off-season mode must be activated manually for each rental separately. There is no automatic activation: a rental being closed or unavailable does not trigger off-season mode on its own, and the subscription will continue to be charged normally until you switch it.

To put several rentals into off-season mode (for example 4 out of 5), simply repeat the process above for each rental you want to pause. Rentals you leave untouched keep operating and being billed as normal.

Your existing rental settings (rates, restrictions, etc.) are preserved while in off-season mode.

What Happens in Off-Season Mode

• You keep full access to the rental.
• Hosthub monitors your channels 24/7 for new bookings.
• If a new booking comes in, all your calendars are updated automatically, off-season mode is deactivated, and the rental returns to its normal subscription charge.
• The Zero Double-Bookings Guarantee continues to apply.

Cost: Off-season mode costs $3 per month per rental for as long as it remains active.

Note: A rental can be switched to off-season mode up to 2 times per year.

Tip: If you want those months to appear closed to guests, first block the relevant dates in the calendar, then activate off-season mode.
